Samjung P&A, since its inception in 1973, has been providing supreme-quality steel packaging and engineering services and steel raw materials through constant plant expansion and development of new technologies. Our steel raw material business division, since it established an aluminum plant in 1977, has been providing Aluminum Deoxidizer to POSCO, Korea`s largest steel company. Now we not only produce Molybdenum Brequette and Ferro Molybdenum(Fe-Mo) but also are diversifying our sales channels to the Middle East, Southeast Asia and European markets. We are also reinventing ourselves as a comprehensive provider of steel raw materials by establishing a new system to produce Aluminum Jumbo Ingot for high quality steel coating. But our work is far from done. We plan to further enhance the steel raw material business by diversifying our production to Die Casting Alloy and Ferro Vanadium. Our engineering business has been providing the best optimized automatic production facility to Pohang and Gwangyang steel mills, based on our experience to provide automatic packaging service to POSCO for more than three decades. We recently laid out groundwork of overseas sales by signing an agreement to provide steel packaging engineering service to China . Our recent construction of automatic production facility research center is also expected to take us a step closer to achieving a goal of customer satisfaction. Our steel packaging division has been in charge of steel packaging process of most steel products made at POSCO `s Pohang and Gwangyang steel mills. We are striving to further enhance automation process of packaging service and sell more packaging resources in order to improve profitability. After Samjung P&A became a subsidiary of POSCO in July 2005, our efforts have been particularly geared towards upgrading management efficiency, and we strive to achieve the solid growth that our mother company, POSCO, has achieved so far.
